Vespa 125 Low Light 1953


The iconic "faro basso" ( meaning low-light) early 1950's vespa model that buzzed all over Italy and got everyone moving again just after the war .

This 1953 version was made world famous in the same year staring in the Holywood movie "Roman Holiday" staring Gregory Peck and Audery Hepburn .Mr Peck swoons the pretty young Hepburn while riding around Rome on his Vespa scooter and showing her all the sites as a passenger and even teaches her to ride it.

This scooter was fully restored in Italy by a renouned classic scooter restorer from Ferrara, only the finest Italian parts where used in the restoration which included a bare metal respray .

The scooter is yet unregisterd in the UK but can be done so for an added fee of £150 .

All is in perfect working order and it will come with a British MOT certificate .
