The Vespa VB1 was one of the shortest scooter production runs in the late 1950s, when after the unveiling in 1957, it got superseded the following year by the newer style chassis Vespa VNB1.
Here we have one beautifully restored VB1 undertaken by ourselves, the scooter before restoration was in fantastic condition and was very solid and complete. We have restored it in it's original colour, metallic blue. The engine has had a full restoration with the 12v Varitronic ignition kit. The carburettor and manifold have also been upgraded to Polini versions.
The scooter is therefore easy to start, runs well and is a very reliable form of transport, not just a museum piece to look at. This bike is built to ride.
As a historic vehicle this scooter qualifies for free road tax and is both London ULEZ and Congestion Charge exempt.
