Our electric conversion kit for wide-frame Vespa scooters includes a 4kW DC brushless electric motor, rear disc brake, sinusoidal motor controller, custom made swing arm and battery tray, along with a key-less ignition, digital battery gauge, LED headlight conversion and all the necessary cables. The whole kit is powered by either one or two removable LG lithium-ion batteries.

We ship worldwide with full installation instructions on our YouTube channel that you or a local garage can follow.

Alternatively we can install the kit for you and also offer it as an engine option to customers who are looking to carry out a classic scooter restoration with us.

During the build process we strip out the old petrol engine, and install our kit as a direct replacement.

The wide-frame models can carry 1-2 medium batteries, one under each side panel and charging is done from our external charger using a standard household plug and socket. The charger can be carried onboard (depending how many batteries you have) allowing you to charge your battery anywhere you can find a socket.

Vespa Wide mount refers to the engine mounting bracket to the chassis being that much wider than later Vespa models, It is basically all of the Vespa models from the 1950's Vespa's  The era for these models is 1952-1958. Models include Piaggio

The kit fits Vespa models: VM1T, VM2T, VN1T, VN2T, VL1T, VL2T, VL3T, VB1T, Vespa Douglas G, GL2, 42L2, 92L2 and Spanish Moto-Vespa models all made from 1952-1958. The kit also fits American Allstate models: VA1T-VA8T, French Acma models: 125 and GL made from 1952-1958.
